We provide counseling services to HCU students. Our counseling services include support groups, workshops, and individual one-on-one sessions. Students from all faiths and spiritual backgrounds are welcome. Learn more about our counseling philosophy and our therapists/Gideon Institute interns.

Support Groups

Support groups are a great place to come and talk about common struggles with other students who understand. Find out about our free support group topics and learn why groups are ideal for overcoming common challenges.

Individual Sessions

Licensed Therapists and Graduate Student Interns see students in Texas for individual sessions:

  • In-person and online appointments (call to check on availability)
  • Student must be present for couple or family sessions
  • By appointment only
  • Based on availability
  • Students average eight individual sessions per school year
  • Approval for additional sessions based on clinical necessity and availability
